Lucia Hotel Paralia

We wanted the 93 m² Lucia Loft at Lucia Hotel in Paralia for €128. My girlfriend and her brother were traveling with our two dogs from Samos by ferry, then driving from Athens, a 15 to 16-hour trip. While they were on the way, I called the owner to confirm the loft was available. He clearly confirmed the reservation and said dogs were welcome. I had specifically asked about them. I was also checking Booking.com during the call, and the loft stayed listed as available, so there seemed to be no reason he couldn't block it then. He had my number and knew they were traveling but never called to say the room was no longer available. When they arrived, his son gave them a key to the wrong room, about 18 m² instead of the 93 m² loft. My girlfriend went back to ask, and he said, “Oh yes, your room is upstairs.” But other people were already staying there. I called the father again, the person I'd arranged it with, and he blamed someone else booking it online in the meantime. That isn't true, since I kept checking Booking during our call and the loft remained available. After all this, you now say I called the wrong hotel? The person on the listed number clearly knew about Lucia Loft and confirmed both the booking and that dogs were welcome. You're shifting responsibility onto me even though I explained everything clearly. Your response is extremely rude and unacceptable. This is completely unprofessional and disappointing, especially from a place presenting itself as pet-friendly and offering personal service. After a confirmed reservation and a 16-hour journey, this was disrespectful and irresponsible. Never again. Not recommended.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and safe, with friendly staff. Booking and paying online was easy. It has a balcony, wifi, TV, air conditioning, and clean towels and bins every day. The church and first beach are just 3 minutes away, Sanook beach bar is 15 minutes away, and Lidl is nearby. Perfect for couples. We'll be back.

Good value for money. The location is great, and the staff are very friendly and give you all the information you need. The rooms have everything you want.

I spent 5 weeks here and had a solid 5/5 experience. The rooms were great and the staff excellent. It's far enough from the main strip to stay quiet at night. I'll be back!
