Nice rooms, close to both Kamares beach and the port.

The worst stay I’ve ever had. On the first day, water leaked from the air conditioner into the room. When we came back, there was a lake on the floor, and my valuable bag, which I’d left on a chair under the unit, was completely full of water. We had to collect the water ourselves. The staff were extremely rude and didn’t even offer a proper apology. They acted as if this was normal, saying that if we’d been asleep, we would have heard the water going “chif chif” and woken up. The place was so bad that calling it a slum doesn’t feel like too much. This had never happened to me before, and we left and continued our stay in a very decent room. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

We paid €100 a night for a room with dirty towels and ants parading around. After the air conditioner had been running for just three hours, its water tank, which apparently had never been emptied, started dripping onto a valuable bag in the room. When we told the manager, her ironic “solution” was to leave the air conditioner off. They didn’t plan to clean up the water or take responsibility, so we found a mop ourselves, cleaned the floor and emptied the tank. Let’s not even think about the risk of electrocution. A real disgrace to the island and its people. Too bad.
