The beds were comfortable, and the price is low, so it works if you just need somewhere affordable to sleep. But we found a few bugs on the walls, there were no drawers or place for luggage, and both the bathroom and kitchen were dirty. The nearby beach wasn’t much for swimming, mostly somewhere to walk. I’d give it 2.5 out of 5, but that’s nearer to a 2.

The balcony was such a nice place to have dinner or a drink in the evening, and our room was comfortable. The host was lovely and always willing to help, so we felt welcome right away. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this cozy place when visiting the island.

The peaceful setting and nice view were good, but the hygiene really disappointed me. The kitchen cupboards and refrigerator were filthy, and I wasn’t going to put the forks and knives we’d washed back into that disgusting cupboard. Nobody came to clean our room during the six days, and they didn’t change the towels or sheets. They could at least leave a broom and dustpan for guests. It also took at least half an hour for hot water to come through. One day it didn’t arrive until late afternoon, so they clearly have a technical issue to fix. I’m disappointed.

The place was peaceful, with a beautiful garden and warm, clear sea. The rooms and grounds were very clean, and we felt right at home. The owners were incredibly helpful.
