Thanasis Matsas Rooms

I can't recommend this place at any cost. The host crossed boundaries and came into my locked room with a key, without warning or knocking. I was undressed and asked him to leave, but he didn't listen. He insisted on coming in and sat beside me on the bed. As I tried to cover myself, he touched my shoulder, commented on my appearance, and protested when I frantically told him to leave.

It's quiet, clean, cheap and close to the center, with all the basics you need. Mr. Matsas is a polite host and keeps the place clean every day.

The rooms are in a great location, close to the port in a quiet area, with easy access and a nice view. They're equipped well enough for a short stay, including a working fridge and air conditioning. The cleaning wasn't good enough, though. The caretaker seems to have swept with a hand broom, mopped with a dirty mop that was left in plain view in the hallway, and changed the sheets. There was a thick layer of dust in several spots and on the furniture, and the bathroom, especially the shower, needed much better cleaning. We cleaned it ourselves. We also had a lot of trouble opening the balcony doors and shutters. A little more room to hang clothes, more sockets for charging devices and a curtain for the shower would have helped.

The rooms were perfect and freshly cleaned. This was the first time in rented rooms that our sheets were changed even though we stayed only 5 nights. The trash was taken out of the rooms every day. Mr. Thanasis is a perfect host. BRAVO Mr. Thanasis, keep it up!!!!!
