Sunset from the ground-floor apartment was amazing, and the location in Samothraki is great. Villa Maria was a wonderful place for a peaceful stay. The host was thoughtful and gave us a nice balance of warmth and privacy. I’d recommend it 10000%.

We could sit in the green yard right outside our rooms with coffee and a chat, and the sea was just 10 m away. The place was quiet, very pleasant, and very clean. The owners were so friendly and kind to us. We’ll certainly come back! ❤️

Everything was close by, from supermarkets and cafes to taverns, so we didn't need a car or much walking. The room was right by the sea, and with the window open at night we could fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Mr. Sakis and Mrs. Maria were so hospitable and helpful, always ready with island information or a bit of conversation. When we arrived, Mr. Sakis had a parking space waiting for us, then offered us coffee and a sweet treat so we could rest after the journey. Our rooms were spotless, and the towels and sheets were changed every day. Thanks for making our stay on the island of the great gods comfortable and pleasant. Have a nice winter.....
