Karmi Studios & Apartments

The pool was a big plus, and the staff were friendly. Shops, a cafe, restaurants, and a gift shop are only a few minutes away on foot. I really enjoyed staying here. It seems like a good fit for families, couples, or solo travellers. See you next year, guys 😉

The place is nice and fair for the price, and the staff helped with small requests. But there isn’t much in the way of security. While three of us were sleeping in the studio, someone entered and left with only a backpack. There was no violence, and the person ran off. We were told afterward that this may happen about once a year, and I wish the staff had warned us so we could have taken precautions ourselves. It was hot, and we don’t all like using air conditioning, even though the studios have it. If we’d known we might need it for security, we’d have kept it on every day.

Room 19 looks out over the sea and pool, and the apartment was quiet, inexpensive, and well furnished. The lovely owner approved our late check-in. Five stars doesn’t cover it, best place on planet kriti 😉. Highly recommended.

We used the apartment just for sleeping while touring the island, so we didn’t try the pool or internet. For two people in a double room, it had everything we needed: basic kitchen facilities for preparing food for the next day, air conditioning, and a balcony. It’s all simple, but enough. Towels were changed daily except Sunday. There’s plenty of parking outside, plus an underground garage. Supermarkets are easy to find nearby. If you need petrol, I’d use the local station in town, which is cheaper. I’d recommend this place.
