Antamoma Suites

Room 7 looked recently renovated, but I wouldn’t call it a suite. At 190€/night, there were a lot of problems. The kitchen utensils had food residue and rust, the shower drain was very rusty, and the bathroom towel hanger had come off the wall. They fixed the hanger after we complained. The old air conditioner was very dirty, with small black marks that might have been mold, and it was loud and disturbing. The WiFi was practically nonexistent, and the bath towels weren’t changed during our 3-day stay. Check-in was poor too, they basically just handed us the key. There were random holes and stains on the walls. The sliding wardrobe doors wouldn’t move because of bad construction, and their stop mechanism fell apart when we tried it. The balcony blinds were badly fitted and hard to close. We had to move the small balcony furniture each time, and the outside-mounted catches were fitted so badly that the right blind couldn’t be secured against the wind. The owner said the salty water from every faucet came from the sea. Maybe that’s an island infrastructure problem, but nobody told us, while restaurants and beach showers seemed to have normal water. The main door also had a gap underneath, large enough for insects to get in. On the first night a huge centipede crawled onto our luggage, so we checked the room for unwelcome visitors every time we came back.
