Chasakis Apartments

The bathroom is so cramped that the sink is practically under your chin when you're sitting on the toilet. Hygiene was okay. The fridge gives off heat, and the air conditioner in the next room has to run at full fan speed around the clock to cool the room with the fridge.

The apartment had plenty of space and the beach is close, but basic things were a mess. It was dirty, and although we stayed eight days and were told towels and sheets would be changed on day five, that never happened. The air conditioning remote they gave me didn't work, so every morning I had to jump out of bed and switch it on manually. The kitchen hood was broken too. Kitchen supplies were oddly uneven, with some things missing and others in excess, like two knives, seven spoons, and ten plates. There was no one at reception to raise issues with, it felt like a ghost house. The apartment was ready at 4 p.m. instead of 2, and they didn't even apologize for the delay.

A great place to unwind, with few people on the beach and an easy walk down to the shore. The Taverna grillhouse is right beside the hotel, and the owner, who was very polite, also runs the supermarket downstairs, handy for picking up whatever you need. The studios are spacious and well equipped.

There was no internet connection in some parts of the apartment, and no signal either.
