Cape Kanapitsa Hotel & Suites

The staff were attentive and friendly, and Lucas and Anna gave us great service. The food was very good, with a superb range at breakfast. We ate outside while the moon was eclipsed. Down the steps, the beaches are only a short walk away. Our bedroom was large, the bathroom was good, and we had a sea view through the trees. The pool and its bar were excellent.

The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Maya at the front desk found us a room for early check-in, the maid service was good, and Anna in the main restaurant always had a smile. We enjoyed the fresh fruit at breakfast and the service, though the spread wasn’t lavish. It had plenty of different items and was quite adequate. We also ate two dinners there, and the hotel restaurant’s food turned out to be better than the nearby restaurants, with nicer views and atmosphere as well as better prices. Once we realised that, we ate there for the rest of our meals. We stayed four nights, from Aug.30-Sept.3 2025, in a superior room overlooking the sea. The room was spacious, with lots of storage, a mosquito screen, AC and a lovely balcony. The hotel sits in a quiet part of the island overlooking a bay and a nice sandy beach, which is an easy walk away. One day after the beach, we decided to stay by the pool and swim there instead. The pool is lovely. Getting around was easy enough. The bus stop is nearby, and the bus runs every 10 minutes during the day. A small boat also goes from the nearby beach into town. We took taxis to and from the airport, and into town when we had a boat trip. More towel hooks in the bathroom would be a useful improvement.

We were three couples, and all of us were blown away by how well the staff looked after us. The maids, maintenance team and reception staff worked tirelessly to make our stay wonderful. The bar and restaurant service was first class, and the food and drinks were delicious. The views were breathtaking too. We spent nine nights here on our first trip to Greece. The hospitality was exceptional, and every member of staff was incredible. My husband was so impressed. We’ll definitely come back, and we’re already saving for another visit.

The pool and bar are excellent, with gorgeous views over the bay and really good bar food. Anna and her team are lovely. We’ve all had attentive service on holiday, but here it’s on another level. Our room was pretty standard, but it was clean, had a sea view, and the cleaning staff did a great job. We ate at a few local restaurants with five-star reviews, and the hotel’s food matched them, if not beat them. It’s not a five-star hotel, but the friendly staff, food and surroundings more than make up for the stars. Thanks for a great holiday.
