Onar Suites & Villas

We appreciated the short island tour the owner gave us when we arrived at Onar Suites. The stay went downhill when he tried to put three adults in the honeymoon suite, which wasn't 60sqm and didn't match the room we had booked from the photos. That booking had a unique pool, the only reason we chose it. He said all the pictures on booking.com were the same, but I checked and they weren't. It seemed clear he had double booked the room, and he didn't tell us beforehand, apologize, or offer alternatives. He was rude and irrational, and we left dissatisfied after he told us to go find other accommodation. Later, my friend saw him at the port. He rolled down the window of the branded hotel Range Rover and started laughing at her. Very inappropriate. I travel around the world for nine months, and this wasn't cool.

The people are what stayed with me most, sincere and friendly, always doing little things to make you happy. The whole place has a feeling of luxurious calm, and the beauty of nature is right there around you. Every detail has such refined style that you can feel it comes straight from the designer's soul. One of the best places I've been in my life, somewhere you can enjoy every second.

We stayed in a honeymoon suite perched on the cliff, with lots of privacy, and loved it. Mr.Petros was amazing, so kind and helpful, and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. This is one of the few places in greece we'd want to return to.

The peaceful setting and breathtaking views, just minutes from the port, are hard to forget. Petros and his team made us feel looked after and at home, with a great mix of professionalism and genuine warmth. From the welcome refreshments and pickup to the short island tour, Petros was a wonderful host. He even had a rental car waiting outside our suite, and was always around with useful local tips or anything else we needed. Our stay at Onar was perfect, and we couldn't recommend it more to anyone heading to Folegandros.
