Porto Bello Beach - All Inclusive

The beach is just a short walk away, with plenty of room, loungers, and parasols. There are bars by the pool and beach serving drinks and food, and the buffet has lots of choice, including themed evenings. We also enjoyed the entertainment during the day and at night, with something for different tastes. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a TV, and you can ask for a kettle if you want coffee in your room. Staff were helpful and service was brilliant. All inclusive is well worth it, and bringing your own plastic cup means a bigger drink and fewer paper cups. Great choice for a family getaway.

We enjoyed our stay, and the food was good, especially on the themed nights, with plenty to choose from. The beach was great, with lots of beds and umbrellas, though the snack bar could offer a wider selection. Staff were very friendly. The rooms could use more storage, particularly some drawers. The pool area also needs attention: some of the floor, tables, sunbeds, and parasols need fixing, and it could look more inviting.

Beautiful setting, nice beach, good food, friendly staff, and great rooms. So far, this has been the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trips. The cleaning stood out too: everything was cleaned every night, and the public toilets by the swimming pool were very clean and attended to several times.

Our family of four had a spacious, spotless room with a lovely terrace. We upgraded to a swim-up room after the first night, and it was worth it. The kids, aged 11 and 8, loved having the pool right there, and we also enjoyed the main pool. The pool bar was handy for drinks during the day. The hotel has a private beach just steps away, and its location was perfect. We ate all our meals at the main buffet restaurant and loved the range and taste of the food. Our youngest is a fussy eater but happily found pizza, burgers, chips, pasta, and lovely desserts. The rest of us enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner too, especially the desserts. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and well organized. The on-site shop was useful for floats, snacks, drinks, and gifts. From our late-night arrival, the staff made us feel welcome. Bread rolls, apples, and water were waiting in the fridge, a thoughtful touch after the journey. Everyone at Portobello was lovely and helpful throughout. The evening entertainment was fun for all of us: mini discos for our youngest, which our eldest joined too, and acrobats, karaoke, salsa dancing, and more for the grown-ups. It was a perfect family holiday, and we can’t wait to return.
