Aiolides Hotel

The manager cancelled my reservation just an hour before I was due to arrive because they couldn't process my card. Its security feature meant the CVV expired before they attempted payment, since they didn't process it straight away. I had been emailing the hotel the whole time, including with the general manager, as signed at the bottom of each email. I got there a little after midnight anyway, but reception was closed. It was strange that it wasn't staffed around the clock, and it seemed they may simply have wanted to close up and go home. Mr general manager, you didn't even give your full name in the correspondence. Shame you didn't want my business. I went somewhere else.

We were well looked after by a very professional receptionist, who gave us helpful information about the area. The hotel was spotless and comfortable, with cozy, well-designed rooms and fireplaces that made things feel even nicer. From the balcony of the top floor rooms, the lake view in the morning was breathtaking. Great job, aolides hotel! 👍

The food, staff, service, appearance and rooms were all great, easily worth five stars. But I'm giving three because something went missing from my room. When we reported it, staff replied, “No chance, that never happened to us,” instead of asking what might have happened. Hey, I'm telling you something was lost. I would've come back, but that response put me off. Good job.

We held our wedding at Aiolides, and the arrangements went exactly as agreed, down to the last detail. The management was very professional, which is rare in the region, and the food was very good. The hotel itself was nice and cozy. If you want to organize an event without worrying that the owner will trick you afterward, this is the place.
