Nevros Hotel Resort & Spa

The view was spectacular, but the infrastructure was poor, the equipment was broken, and the room was dirty with no cleaning service. The restaurant was far below what I expected.

The view was AMAZING, and we could drink the tap water from the sink. Our room was beautiful, with comfortable beds and a big shower with good water pressure. The staff were lovely and helpful, and made us feel special by giving us extra privileges when we stayed in the low season, even though we hadn't asked. I'll come back next time I'm in Greece!

The service for what is meant to be a 4-star hotel was SHAMEFUL, and 0 stars would be closer to the truth. The lobby has excellent views, and the location is good, but breakfast was mediocre at best. The rooms are a different story depending on where you're booked. In the main building, rooms 100-... should be fine. The lower bungalows are a gamble. They're very damp and humid, and their access corridors are cluttered with chairs, tables, and other paraphernalia. The upper section of the lower complex may be manageable, since those rooms have windows on both sides and could in theory be aired out. But avoid rooms 322 and 324 downstairs altogether. Their bathrooms are partly below ground and have no ventilation. The drainage siphons were badly installed, leaving the bathroom semi-flooded throughout our stay. No fan, air duct, or any other ventilation, and mold everywhere. The whole room constantly smelled of mold and humidity. We were there with our 5-year-old, and it was hell on earth. We had specifically called to ask for a room with a view or balcony. Instead, we got what felt like a storage space turned into a room, with no view. Three plants were placed in front of the entrance to hide a subterranean water tank, and beyond the tank, animals were foraging, so the area was full of flies and mosquitoes. The mold came free with the room. The pool is tiny, and as a result it's loud and crowded all the time. They likely used the old trick of calling it an open water storage tank to sidestep building permit rules and the need for a standing lifeguard.

The rooms were cozy and simple, with a great view, but this didn't feel like a 4-star hotel. The hallway leading to the rooms looked more like a storage area, and the carpet was stained with bleach, with dust and plaster all around. The food was horrible. We ate in the lobby, where the burger was awful, and breakfast didn't feel worth the 200€ we paid for a room for three.
