I left pretty disappointed. The place was clean and the view was nice, but the stay felt like a tourist trap: high-season prices felt a bit steep, and the host only took cash. It didn't feel like good value and came across as greedy. I also thought it was inappropriate for the host to invite friends and four small children to spend the day in the tiny pool. I got out quickly when one child jumped in wearing a diaper and the others turned the pool into a water fight. The host shouldn't mix business with pleasure.

Aphrodite was our second apartment on Karpathos, and it was a very positive experience. Our room was quiet, newly renovated and comfortable, with a modern shower and bathroom, and it was worth the price. The host was very nice and friendly. Aphrodite is in the north of Pigadia, so it's not very central and having a vehicle is better. Still, all the useful shops and even the city center are more or less within walking distance.

The owners, Sofia and Giorgos, do whatever they can to make the stay memorable for you and your family. This little boutique hotel has wonderful service, lovely rooms and washrooms, and strong internet. Ten stars!

The family saved our holiday. The energy in the apartment house was so nice, with real peace and quiet. We had a very comfortable room with an amazing mattress and view, and the rooms were cleaned well. Thanks to the cleaning ladies for that, and to Sophia and her husband for everything. The infinity pool was wonderful, and it's very close to the city. Highly recommended. Efharisto para poli, have a great summer! ❣️🥰
