Sotirios Apartments

Elpida and Yoannes were wonderful hosts, always quick to help with anything we needed and then some. We had lovely chats with them, got great tips on where to go, and even the occasional yummy treat 😋. The apartment was clean, beautiful and cozy, a lovely place to come back to after exploring or spending the day at the beach. This was easily the best vacation I've ever had, and the hosts of sotirios apartments made it that way. If you're going to Karpathos, stay here! 5/5 ✨️

The rooms were clean and large, with very good AC, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet, which suited us, though getting to the city center took about 20-25 minutes on foot. I thought the stay cost too much for this particular apartment. With the TUI flight included, it shouldn't have been more than 500 maybe 600 euros. 1000 euros for 7 days felt far too high. There were several problems too. Ants got into the room through the balcony door even though we hadn't left any doors or windows open. They were on the beds, floor and table, so we couldn't leave snacks or food out. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and should definitely be changed. The WiFi wasn't very good despite the owner's claim that it was the best on the island, and it sometimes stopped working, especially late at night. The walls and doors were thin enough that we could hear everything happening in the other apartment.

I spent a week in this very clean apartment. It was a great property, a spacious two-room place for two people with everything we needed from the kitchen to the bedroom. The owner was kind and hospitable. The showerhead was leaking, but after we reported it, it was replaced in less than an hour. Highly recommended.

The apartment had everything we needed, with linen changes and cleaning every two days. At first, arriving in the evening, we walked for five minutes down a dark, partly unpaved road and wondered where we had ended up. By the next day, after walking around, the location made sense. Pigadia Beach is a beautiful, wide, well-equipped beach just five minutes away, with everything you need. The apartment is away from the busy pedestrian center and port of Pigadia, which is a 15-minute walk. I recommend the nearby tavernas Nena and Perasma. The owner deserves a special mention. She’s an exceptional person, very hospitable, attentive and empathetic.
