That view was amazing, and dinner was good too. The room was spacious, though I expected the bathroom to be cleaner. It’s about a three-minute drive from the city center. With a few tweaks, this hotel could have a lot of potential.

The staff made our week at Lecadin easy and enjoyable. They were friendly, helpful with all our questions, and gave us good ideas for things to do nearby. We were there with my friend and my dog for a big dog competition in Karpenissi, and they made us feel very welcome. I’d happily stay there again if I come back. The room was tidy and cleaned every day. The bathroom was good, the shower had strong pressure, and there was a hair dryer. The view across Karpenissi and the mountains was lovely. The bed was a bit firmer than I like, but fine, and the pillows were nice. Breakfast was about what you’d expect from a three-star hotel, not the best, though the Greek yogurt was really good. It’s only a few minutes by car to the center, but the hotel sits on a steep hill and the road has no lights. Walking there in the dark felt a little scary without reflective gear or lights. The one irritating thing was that our room keys stopped working every day. I don’t know if it was just our cards, but it got frustrating.

The hotel’s location is unusual, and the room price and guest reviews matched what we found. Staff were keen to answer questions and help. There’s also a parking area and a breakfast room.

We left with only good memories and even made new friends during our stay. The view was great, the food very good, and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent, always friendly and helpful with a smile. See you next year, Peter.
