Anesis Hotel

From the lobby and dining room, you get lovely views, and the staff were helpful, friendly, and very polite. The rooms were clean and roomy, with good heating and air conditioning, though they could use renovation. Breakfast covered the basics. It's a cozy little hotel on Karpenisi's main street, only a short walk from the main square. Good value for a weekend in the area.

The stay was great, even though the place is starting to feel old and could use an update. The carpets in the room needed replacing, the bathroom vent didn't work, the shower sprayed water everywhere, and parking was a bit difficult. Still, the hotel was very clean, the beds were great, breakfast was a good continental spread, and the views were amazing. The staff were good too.

The receptionist was so helpful. She brought us plates and napkins for our takeaway and let us eat by the fireplace in the reception lounge, which had a lovely view of the mountains. The rooms were really nice, and breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cornflakes, cake, Greek pie, bread with butter and jam, and bread with Gouda and ham. We had excellent hospitality here. I'd recommend it for a winter visit to Karpenisi.

They let us check out as late as 5 pm, which was great. It's a nice small hotel with an okay breakfast. Like in many Greek hotels, though, the shower room is cramped and uncomfortable.
