We had an amazing lunch, with local pies and a range of meats. The staff were polite and helpful. Recommended.

Helidona is a real local gem, run by a local family. They don't have a set menu, just a few dishes they tell you are available that day, and everything we tried was delicious. It was all brought out with a smile. Sitting outside under the huge tree was so pleasant, with the water fountain nearby adding a calming sound. We loved it enough to come back the next day. The other restaurants in the area are nice too, but Helidona is the best.

The welcome from the local people made me feel right at home, and the mountain views and lush greenery are breathtaking. I especially enjoyed visiting the beautiful Church of St. Nicholas, a place of worship that also feels like living history. In Helidona, also called "Palio Chorio," I wandered cobblestone streets between old stone houses and felt transported back in time. Its traditional architecture and peaceful atmosphere make this Central Greece village feel special. It's a lovely place for nature and hiking, or for a quiet escape surrounded by beautiful scenery. I also liked the chance to explore Greece's rural heritage. #Helidona #PalioChorio #GreekVillages #MountainRetreat #5Stars

The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable, with such a warm, friendly staff. The owner is a young, well-known chef who gives traditional dishes a lovely twist. They also offered us a delicious local sweet, yoghurt with sweet grape or berries. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend it.

The view is beautiful, and the service is friendly without any fuss. The food tastes good, and the beef in tomato sauce and rooster were cooked well. The fries and Greek pasta, hylopittes, were a little undercooked, though. The big issue was the price: 15-16€ per dish. Nobody gave us a price list before we ordered, and we were annoyed and disappointed by the bill. The quick explanation was that the food was homemade with local meat. Remember to ask what things cost before ordering.
