Anemomylos Bungalows

For three days it felt like camping, and I can’t recommend this place. I arrived late on the first night to a musty room with broken balcony doors and nothing to block the morning sun, so I was awake at 8am. When I asked to move, they told us to speak to the manager the next day. We were eventually put in another room, but even that didn’t have basics like toilet paper. I asked for a discount because of all the trouble, but got no compensation. They also didn’t issue a receipt. There are much more decent places to stay, even if they cost a little more.

The best part was the quiet by the pool, with morning coffee there and soft lights and music at night while I enjoyed a drink. At the Anemomylos complex on the edge of Karystos, I found the rest I’d been looking for, with spacious clean rooms and comfortable beds. I drove to Gallida beach in just 3 minutes, where I finally got to play in the sea like I’d wanted since childhood. What more do you need than moments like that?

Just outside the center of Karystos, the hotel is peaceful and welcoming, with a picturesque feel. My room was bright and airy, with a private terrace, plenty of space, and a large bathroom. The pool has lovely surroundings, and the staff were kind and helpful.
