Politia Villas

Staying at Politia Villas felt wonderfully peaceful, with privacy and lovely surroundings. Our villa sat among an olive grove, giving the visit a special local feel, especially since the owner also runs the olive estate. The hostess was kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our rooms were comfortable, clean, and equipped with what we needed for a relaxing holiday. Evia is a beautiful island and still feels like one of Greece's best-kept secrets. Politia Villas was a perfect place to enjoy it. Highly recommended!

The view from the location was stunning and made our stay feel special. We felt right at home thanks to our kind, welcoming host. Breakfast was a highlight too, with fresh, delicious choices that got our day off to a great start. A delightful place for a memorable getaway, highly recommend!

The garden is beautifully decorated, and the area is very quiet. I appreciated the large room and the owner's hospitality. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine, nice shower gel, and clean towels, then cleaned the room after two days. She respected our privacy and didn't disturb us. For those things, I'd give a 10. There were some real drawbacks, though. The sanitary fixtures are very old and make a horrible noise each time they're used. There's no shower holder, and the plastic curtain is old and unhygienic. The white goods and air conditioning are also old, and the AC wasn't usable for sleeping. The place isn't close to the beaches and doesn't have high tech, but we knew that when we booked. All things considered, I'd rate it an 8 for the garden, room, and owner's hospitality. They should invest in new sanitary fixtures and white goods near the cutlery.

Mrs. Chariklia made our stay at Politia Villas in Karystos especially pleasant. She was generous with her hospitality, gave us a bottle of Greek tsipouro, and let us check in early and leave late without an extra charge. That flexibility was a big help. The WiFi was strong enough for our work, too. The villas were spotless, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all the amenities we needed, and impressive attention to detail. It's a comfortable, relaxing place in a great location. We'd happily return and recommend it.
