The beach setup made our day at Porto Koundouros Villas really comfortable. The sunbeds were comfy and had call buttons for service, and there was a big menu with something for everyone. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. It’s on the pricey side, but the quality and service made it feel like good value, and the whole place felt wonderfully exotic. Getting there was straightforward, just a 50-minute bus ride from the main port. It felt like discovering a hidden gem on Kea.

We went three times and had a nice experience at one of Kea’s best beaches, maybe the best. The staff were polite and helpful, with a good choice of drinks and snacks. Facilities were very good, including showers, a changing area, and clean bathrooms. There’s plenty of shade with sofas, tables, and chairs if you don’t want to pay for beach beds.

The location is excellent and the sea is ideal for kids, but loud music ruined the beach visit. Repetitive beats were blasting from large speakers all over the place, and management wouldn’t turn the volume down. We could barely talk. If you want a quiet, relaxing swim, don’t go!

We paid full price, then were told to leave the beach early because of a wedding. They also wouldn’t let us have lunch at the restaurant, and nobody warned us in advance.

I spent the day at Porto Koundouros for my nephew’s birthday. They have all the facilities you need, even for young children, plus a great cocktail selection and clear water.
