Afitos Boutique Hotel

We found this spot while wandering along the beach. We weren’t staying at the hotel, but stopped in during the afternoon for drinks and a few snacks. The staff were great, and the food was just as good. Those fried zucchini with mint leaves left us speechless.

I really enjoyed the stay and would come back. The grounds are lovely and quiet, with flowers around the pool, which I especially liked. The staff were friendly and polite, and the rooms had enough space. Breakfast was so good, with fresh fruit, Greek pastries, yogurt, vegetables, and more. There’s a beautiful private beach that wasn’t crowded, and the water was so clear. The location feels lovely and exclusive. Some of the reviews don’t seem fair to me.

The room upgrade was such a thoughtful touch. My parents were thrilled to have a beautiful sea view, and it made their stay feel even more special. I booked their visit to Afitis Boutique Hotel, and from arrival the staff made them feel welcome and looked after. The hotel had a peaceful feel, tasteful decor, and attentive service throughout. I’m grateful to the whole team for making their trip so memorable. I’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting a calm, elegant stay in Greece.

We loved watching the sunrise each morning. The colors were beautiful, and from a sea view room you can see it right from the balcony. The hotel’s position by the water is lovely, with direct beach access, and the town center is an 8-9 minute climb up the stairs. There are shops and traditional tavernas there. The sea has gorgeous blue shades, but the beach is rocky and some people saw sea urchins, so water shoes are a good idea. Our room was comfortable and had a lovely view. It was clean enough, though the furniture looked dated, one drawer was broken, and the shower gel wasn’t replenished after the first small bottle ran out. Breakfast had a decent choice. The beach bar cocktails felt overpriced, and service was slow even when it wasn’t busy. Lunch on the terrace was slow too, and our dishes arrived at different times. We’d suggest eating in town for quicker service and more options. The sunbeds could be managed better. Each morning, people came out early to reserve them with towels, then went back to their rooms. Some weren’t even staying to see the sunrise. The place has a lot of charm and a great location, but still needs attention to reach the level of a 5-star resort. We had a nice time and might return.
