Ariti Complex

We had a pleasant four-night stay and would come back. It was clean, with a nice pool, and the location was close to the center and beaches while still away from the noise. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the office nearby was handy if we needed anything. The internet wasn’t very good, so I wouldn’t count on it for working from home. We weren’t in the apartment much, though, so it wasn’t a big deal for us.

The location was convenient, close to the center, shops, and restaurants without being too busy, and the prices felt fair. We had no major complaints and enjoyed our stay, though there are a few things to know before booking. Our booking said Ariti Complex, but we were given an apartment in Balaris Apartments, the building just behind it. The listing showed photos of both, so that part didn’t bother us. Aritis faces the pool and a quieter street, while Balaris faces the main road, where cars and often trucks pass. The apartments are fairly well insulated, but you can still hear traffic. I’m usually quite sensitive to road noise, but it didn’t trouble me much. We were out most of the day, and by bedtime we were tired and the traffic had died down. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, though we never met the owners. The apartment was reasonably clean but a little damp. Towels and sheets were changed every 3-4 days. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout; we were on the ground floor and our friends stayed upstairs. We had a clothes rack on our balcony, but they didn’t. There was just one toilet roll and no soap, toiletries, or washing-up liquid, so we had to buy those ourselves. The kitchen and bathroom were otherwise well equipped, although we only made breakfast. Air conditioning was included in the price and only in the kitchen, which worked for us since nights weren’t too warm at the start of July. The pool area had sunbeds and umbrellas, and we liked having access to it, especially for the kids after the beach. I did find the pool a bit small: fine when it’s empty, but with 3-4 other people there’s hardly room to move or swim. I’d recommend the place if you’re not expecting too much. A few things could have been better, but the stay was still great overall.

A pool was a great extra, and I’d have no problem staying here again. The place was clean and well maintained, and Kassiopi’s amenities are just a one-minute walk away, with the beach about ten minutes on foot. I stayed in the rear complex facing a busy main road. The windows kept most of the traffic noise down, which was good, though we could hear noise from neighboring apartments, especially near reception. They supplied just one tea towel and one toilet roll, so plan to pick up a few basics from nearby shops.

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s perfectly clean and in an excellent spot in beautiful Kassiopi. I gave it four stars because it’s a little dated, though that’s what you might expect in Greece.
