This was only a two-star place back in 2008. The food selection was limited, the bar was short on drinks, and the air conditioner didn't work. The beach is close and the old town is 20 minutes away. The location isn't bad, but my wife wouldn't go back. I added a picture of the air conditioner.

We've stayed here twice now and like it. It's a friendly, family-run place where we keep meeting nice people, and it feels like home, so this is where we'll stay whenever we come to Rhodes. The price matches what you get. If you're down to earth and enjoy being around people like that, you'll probably be happy here. If you complain about everything, pay double and stay somewhere else. Turn left when you leave the hotel and Rhodes old town is about a 20-minute walk or a 5 Euro cab ride away. Turn right and, if you've rented a scooter or car, you can reach beaches with more bars than you can imagine. We went to Goa this year, and it didn't compare with this part of Greece.

I stayed here in 1996. The food was okay, and so was the hotel, though I remember cockroaches and leaves in the pool. I hope the service has improved, because Rhodes is one of Greece's most beautiful islands.

If all you need is somewhere to sleep near downtown, it's okay, and the people are friendly and nice, though nobody speaks English. But there's really no value for the money. The equipment is very old, the air conditioning sometimes doesn't work, and the water can be a problem too. The pool seems to be there just for photos, and the furniture is extremely old.
