Solaris Methea Villa Kassiopi Corfu

The location and service at Solaris are great, but I wouldn’t stay here unless you have children. We found a cockroach in our room, and kids took over the adult pool while their parents got drunk by the pool, even though there’s a separate kids’ pool. I assume the bar’s location contributes to it, and management doesn’t enforce any rules about it. One day the adult pool was so chaotic that I had to use the kids’ pool instead. By the end of that day, the water looked murky green.

Katerina, the host, helped us plan the rest of our trip, including booking a car. The staff were really friendly and ready to help with anything. The rooms are big and have nice balconies, and the location is superb, right in the middle of everything while still quiet. Honestly, it’s the best spot in Kaissopi.

Solaris was a really enjoyable stay, and I’d recommend it. Our apartment was cleaned regularly and had a comfortable double bed. Everyone on staff was helpful, especially Katarina at reception, who deserves a mention. Being right in the village center was great, with a couple of pools on site and several beaches nearby. We’ll go back.

The location is definitely worth the money, and booking was reliable and convenient. The pools are amazing, evenings are nice and quiet, and the Cafre on site was adequate. We stayed in the honeymoon suite. It was dated and the balcony had no view, but it was amazing value. Sheets may have been changed once during the week, and cleaning was minimal. One person on reception was very helpful.
