Orologopoulos Mansion

The mattresses are the most comfortable, the service is exceptional, and breakfast has lots of tasty choices. It's probably my favorite hotel in the world, in my favorite part of Kastoria. Already looking forward to coming back. Thank you!

Anna at reception was so kind and helpful, and I absolutely loved her. The rooms keep their traditional character, with lovely stained-glass windows, while the bathroom feels modern and elegant. This charming place is a beautifully preserved mansion said to be around 200 years old. Breakfast was excellent, with scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, bacon, croissants, sweet pastries, yogurt, cereal, freshly squeezed orange juice, and other delicious options. I stayed here last night and can't say enough good things about the place.

The square is being rebuilt right now, so there was some noise and disruption. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very stylish and modern, in a beautiful square. Breakfast had a good selection of sweet pastries, but was simple, with some basic items like tea missing. The omelette and other hot food weren't replenished once they ran out.

The location is perfect, right on the old town's main square, with several charming restaurants and cafés nearby. The square is currently being reconstructed, though, which was a bit of a bummer. I loved the historic building and its well-preserved features, and the rooms were cozy with an excellent shower. Service and hospitality were warm and attentive. Breakfast wasn't a big spread, but it was nicely presented, fresh, and high quality, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Two small things: in late April the air conditioning was set to heating, so I had to sleep with the windows open, and the mattress was softer than I like. Minor issues for me, and amazing value for money.
