Our honeymoon was lovely, even though the first rainy days of the whole season lasted through nearly our entire stay, and I caught a cold. The private beach was gorgeous, and every time we went, we had it to ourselves. You'll need a car, but Yannis made renting one easy. There are two bakeries within walking distance, and the second became our favorite. Even in the first week of October, Kontos was still open and within walking distance. They were really helpful and gave us tips about the island. We stayed in two different rooms. The first was smaller but had everything we needed. The second was roomier and recently renovated, and we appreciated the extra comfort in the rainy weather. From the apartment, it was easy to drive to nearby villages and hikes, including Apiranthos and Filoti, as well as the old port. The food was amazing everywhere we went, and Yannis surprised us with treats a couple of times. Thanks for making our honeymoon so memorable and special!

The beach right below the apartment was the highlight for us. It took about a minute to reach, and we spent most of our days there. We’ve visited this island several times, but this has been our favorite place to stay. The apartment had just been renovated and was really comfortable. We enjoyed it enough to extend our holiday. Yannis was a lovely host: he welcomed us with a dessert his mother had made and brought another halfway through our stay. There was also an espresso machine and coffee in the apartment, which we appreciated. We’d happily recommend it for a memorable stay on the island. 10/10. Thanks, Yannis! 😎

The place was close enough to walk to food and a market, and the beach was only about two minutes away. It was very quiet there. Our room was cleaned and the beds were made each day, and the price felt reasonable for what we got. The hosts were welcoming and really helpful. They picked us up from the airport and took us back, helped arrange a rental car, and shared good tips on places to visit and where to get food, groceries, and bakery items. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.

Our booking was made six months ahead, but it was cancelled the day before we were due to arrive, in the middle of August. When I called to ask what had happened, the owner yelled at me and was unpleasant to speak with. After contacting Booking, we were offered a different room after three days, and we hadn't even seen what that room was like. It wasn't what we'd booked, so we went somewhere else. I want to be treated with appreciation as a guest, not shouted at. With so little accommodation available in the middle of the summer season, having a holiday cancelled the day before arrival was a terrible experience. If you want to avoid that happening, don't book here.

The apartment downstairs was really convenient, and getting to the beach was easy. The studio itself is definitely tiny, though, and the bath was awkward to use. Be careful with the movable bed. It would help to have a document with more information about nearby activities. Kunto restaurant is close by, and the waiter there is great for tips on the best places to visit.
