Amorgos Pearls

We loved sitting in the tastefully decorated garden to watch the sunset, and the apartment was a great base for exploring the island. There are good restaurants and two supermarkets close by, yet the place stays quiet. Both inside and outside are stylish, and everything was tidy. Christos is wonderfully welcoming and kind. His donkey, who lives right beside the apartment, is lovely too. Thanks again, Christos. We had a wonderful stay. Antonia and Sven

The studios are modern, clean, and clearly well cared for, right by the beach and an easy walk from the restaurants in central Katapola. We didn't rent a car through Christos, though he does offer that service. When we got our dates wrong for his father's place, Pension Big Blue, Christos and his father were incredibly helpful and let us check in early at The Pearls. The hospitality was superb, and we'd absolutely come back.

We spent a lot of time relaxing on the terrace, looking out at the sea and the sunset. The house was immaculate, almost like new, and sits right in the centre of Katapola. Christos also shared island tips we wouldn't have found on our own, which made a real difference. So glad we chose Amorgos Pearl.

The garden at the White Pearl house was a real wow, with plants, a hammock, seats, and a sea view. Restaurants are within walking distance, and Christos had useful sightseeing and restaurant tips. He went above and beyond when our daytime ferry was cancelled: we arrived at 4 am at a different harbour than planned, and he picked us up for free despite the longer drive. The family business, Car Rental the Big Blue, had brand new cars at a low price and delivered one to the bungalow or elsewhere, with an umbrella and beach towels. The house was wonderful. Totally worth it, and I'd recommend it!
