Sofia was friendly, picked us up at the port, and always replied quickly to messages. We had a spacious private terrace with beautiful sunset views, two AC units, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, and a kitchenette equipped for cooking. The bedding was good quality, the towels soft, and daily housekeeping was an unexpected bonus. A few things could be better: the WiFi was just decent, the shower pressure was very low and there was no fixed shower head, and the bathroom smelled a bit like sewage.

The owners were helpful and accommodating, and they run cafe Teleion at the port, where overnight guests get discounts on some breakfast items. The apartment itself is clean, modern, and tastefully decorated, with lots of natural light and a beach-house feel. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting an affordable, comfortable stay in Katapola.

We stayed four nights while visiting Amargos and would recommend it. It's near the harbour on a quiet upper street with only a few steps. The rooms were clean, and the managers were friendly and answered our questions even late at night.

The host was friendly and very helpful, and I wish we'd had more time here. The apartments are finished to a really high standard and seem to have everything thought through. Amazing stay, couldn't have been better. I'd highly recommend both the guesthouse and the island.

We were robbed here. The door was locked, but the robber had the keys. The owner was completely helpless and took no responsibility. If you're visiting Amorgos, find somewhere else to stay.
