We had a first-floor room with a lovely view of Mount Olympus. The beach nearby was wider and nicer than the one in central Paralia, and the water was shallow enough for our child to swim without us worrying. A mini market about 200 meters down the street stayed open late, which came in handy. Rea doesn't serve food, so we ate at Hotel Yakinthos, also around 200 meters away, and would recommend it. The hotel is small, quiet, and pleasant, and the friendly couple who run it were always ready to help. The owner arranged a reasonably priced rental car for a few days, called us a taxi when needed, suggested places to visit nearby, including Vrontou!, and did us a few little favors. They even served us wine. Some of the most helpful and welcoming hosts we've met. For Polish guests, there's an extra plus: the owners speak perfect Polish and lived in Poland for years, so you can chat with them in your own language. For a one-star hotel, the stay was far better than we expected.

We arrived with a booking, but they couldn't find it. The hosts were rude, and the room was not clean at all. There were stains on both the sheets and the towels. I'm sorry.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the prices were very good. There's free parking on site and free WiFi, and every room comes with a mini kitchen, fridge, and AC. One downside: if the people in the next room are noisy, you'll hear everything, if you know what I mean.

For a one-star hotel, this place is far better than expected. The rooms were clean, the place was very nice, and the owner was polite. I'll definitely visit again.
