My family felt as if we were visiting relatives. It has a very friendly, hospitable feel, and the sweetest dog lives there, which made the kids so happy. We love dogs, so that was a treat. The rooms get cleaned regularly, with fresh sheets and towels. No hotel can offer this sort of personal attention. The island has plenty to see, including beaches, waterfalls, mineral-water pools, mountains, and great taverns. We drove to these places each day, as they’re not within walking distance.

Litsa made our 10-day stay at Meraklis memorable. She was friendly and always available, and we felt right at home. The clean, quiet rooms look out over either the mountains or the sea, with crickets and birds to listen to. The sheets and rooms are cleaned every three days. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for a great stay!

Meraklis is inexpensive and decent for the price, with stunning views of Mount Saos that seem to change from day to day. It’s only 3.5 km from Therma, a starting point for some gorges and nightlife. Expect basic facilities, but also a clean room and a warm welcome. Recommended.
