If you're looking to slow down for a while, Odyssia Apartments and Katelios are a great choice. It's family run, quiet, and comfortable, with tidy rooms cleaned every day. The location on Kefalonia is hard to beat, close to the sea and nice beaches with sea and mountain views, as well as the port (100m) and tavernas and shops (50 m).

We were out so much that the lack of a telly didn't bother us, and there was WIFI, air con, and a safe. This isn't a fancy or exclusive hotel, but it was top notch and I'd go back. There were two adults and three kids in our group, so we had one of the bigger rooms. The large front balcony had a table and chairs and amazing harbour, sea, and ocean views. The adult bedroom was spacious, with high ceilings, dresser mirror tables, cupboards, and double doors with shutters. The second bedroom opened onto a rear balcony through double doors, with brilliant views over the hills and sea. The kitchen and living area was basic but clean and had what we needed, including utensils, cutlery, crockery, two sinks, a small over and hobs, and a large fridge/freezer. The toilet room was small, but the shower, toilet, and sink were decent. When we arrived in the morning after our second visit to beautiful Kefalonia, the staff were friendly and helpful and showed us to clean, tidy, presentable rooms.
