The fridge is a good size, and we were able to check in early in the morning. It’s a clean, family-style guesthouse with pleasant balcony seating, and the nearest beach is about five minutes away. The owners live there and are nice, though a bit noisy. One issue in the 37 C heat was that very warm water came from both taps during the day. We tried to do without it for longer, but couldn’t cool down.

I don’t get the positive reviews. Daily cleaning and cleanliness were the only good points. If the bathroom had been shown in the photos, I definitely wouldn’t have rented the studio.

We had a wonderful holiday, with the nearby rocky Potali Bay sea view and a very quiet place to stay. The sandy beach is less than a kilometer away in the center, where there are lots of great tavernas. An umbrella and two sunbeds cost 15-20 euros, though a small part of the beach is free. The place was cleaned daily except Sunday, and we paid an extra 10 euros a day for air conditioning. Taverna Blue Swan is about 150 meters away. The owners and staff were kind and helpful, and explained the menu right by the stove, which was really great. We also joined a boat trip to the island of Saria, which I highly recommend if you like boat rides, swimming in the bay, and hiking over rocky, rugged terrain.

The terrace looks out to sea, and the place was clean and comfortable. The beach is about two minutes away, and there’s a similar taverna nearby.
