Mythos Panorama

A really relaxing choice for a couple, as long as you’re not expecting the world. We had a spacious, clean swim-up room, and staff were super friendly. They were happy to pick us up from our room to go to reception or collect us wherever we were. Drinks were good if you stick to beer and wine; the spirits were watered down. The beach was excellent, with a calm bay that was great for swimming and unwinding. They also replaced our water every day.

We liked the rural setting, but mosquitoes got the better of us despite trying everything to avoid bites. Breakfast service was slow because there weren’t enough staff, and bowls and cups in particular were in short supply. The staff worked hard, but seemed to be fighting a losing battle. Beside the other side of our swim-up pool was a long strip of grass that we soon realized was used as a wastewater soakaway. It sometimes smelled, and was probably where the mosquitoes gathered. My husband was disappointed by the classes because the young woman leading the exercise didn’t seem very enthusiastic. There was a well-equipped gym, so we used that instead. I wouldn’t say the hotel deserved its rating; I’ve stayed in better.

The staff made the tasting such a lovely time to share with friends. We tried three fantastic wines, with canapés alongside. A brilliant experience.

The hotel and its service were very nice, but Olea restaurant left me really disappointed. I ordered two cocktails and saw the bartender take the glasses from the sink where the leftover drinks had been poured. At the rooftop bar, the food was only average too. I ordered ravioli, and it was honestly the worst-cooked ravioli I've tried.
