Maria's Taverna down the street is a nice spot for dinner. The host is very welcoming, and the apartment is spacious and comfortable, with a small kitchen, balcony and air conditioning.
The owner is kind enough to bring oranges from her own garden, so you can have lovely fresh juice in the morning. The terrace, with its chairs and table, is perfect for relaxing in the evening or enjoying a superb breakfast. It’s clean and well located on a side road off the main one. The friendly owner is always happy to help and answer any questions.
The rooms and surroundings are beautiful, but this building is now only for employees who live in Crete Chania. It isn’t a hostel anymore.
A lovely family place that works for all budgets, with owners who are warm and friendly.
Wonderful people, a great place, and a beautiful island.
