Chania was easy to explore from here, and the onsite parking made coming and going around the island simple. The pool was a lovely place to unwind, and we liked both our room and the property. The staff were great, too. Dinner was amazing: I had the fish, my husband ordered pasta, and we enjoyed both dishes along with the appetizers and wine. Breakfast, on the other hand, felt repetitive by our third day because it was the same each morning.

The infinity pool and its sea view were a highlight, and the grounds were clean and well kept. We also liked the restaurant selection for what we paid, and the staff were friendly and professional. The beach is right across the road, with restaurants close enough to walk to. Our room was a good size, though the decor felt a little dated. There weren’t many parking spaces for a resort this size. Would I come back? Definitely.

Just be careful not to leave sugary snacks out. I left a bag of nuts open for a few hours and found ants in it, and they can get into the room. The staff were friendly and ready to help with anything, and the beach is nearby. The hotel itself is nice, the food is very good, and the pools are spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel. The location worked well, with several good restaurants nearby. A taxi to Chania cost €15 to €20 and was well worth it for four people, only a little more than the bus. A few buses passed the stop outside already full, which could mean a long wait in the heat. The pool and views were fantastic, and we always found a bed for the four of us. It got busy, but moving your towels when heading off for a walk or a few hours seemed to keep things fair. The Pool Bar team deserve credit: their drinks were first class. Breakfast was well organized, regularly replenished, and had a decent range. We ate dinner there once; the food was very good, though service was slow. Maybe we just caught them on a slow evening. Reception were helpful with taxis and excursions. The rooms had everything we needed, with good air conditioning and water pressure, though they’re showing some age and could use a refresh.

Pete, the manager, helped us out when the jacuzzi in our honeymoon suite had a technical problem at 10pm. He fixed it himself so we could use it. The suite was spacious and romantic, and the hotel made our stay comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices, and they were lovely about accommodating a late breakfast. I’d highly recommend the place.
