Kurmulis Studios

George was always available, either at reception or on WhatsApp, and the apartment soon felt like home. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Our ground-floor studio had a well-equipped kitchenette, though we never cooked because the nearby restaurants were so reasonably priced. It could use a toaster. We loved the rooftop terrace, which gets lots of sun. The pool was clean and refreshing, and pool towels were provided and could be changed whenever we liked. The cleaners came daily, kept the apartment spotless, and changed the towels and sheets regularly. They never stop working! The pool is shared with the complex opposite, but it never got too busy. There were different sunbeds around the small complex. The location was handy: five minutes' walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants, 30 minutes by car from the airport, and 15 minutes from Chania. It's also close to the main road for trips farther afield. Supermarkets are a short walk away, with larger ones less than a 10 minute drive away. Small but perfectly formed, peaceful, and comfortable. We had a wonderful 10 days at Kurmulis Studios and totally recommend it.

The greenery made the place feel special, especially the bougainvillea by our door reaching up to the bedroom balcony. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace and its view. There were enough comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, and the pool was clean and inviting. It is quite deep, so good for swimming, though there's a shallower part for kids. Wifi worked well. We stayed at the Kurmulis Studios for two weeks, and every day was great. George was cheerful, open, hands-on, and always ready to help. The whole property was very well maintained and clean. Our apartment was cleaned regularly and the towels were changed. The kitchen had everything we needed. George and his kind staff, thank you for making our stay so good. We wish you all the best!

George and his staff went out of their way to look after us. George even picked us up from our previous hotel. Kurmulis is close to the beach and has a very nice pool, while being set away from the busy main street. It is a little uphill if you're walking. We had a great stay in a quiet, clean, well-kept place.

The pool was perfect for cooling off, and George and his staff were great hosts. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool, with nice evening sun. The apartment was spot on, with a handy little kitchenette containing everything we could want or need, and a comfy bed. It's a walk into town, though the raised location is to be expected.
