Captain's Studios & Apartments

The rooms had everything we needed, including a fridge, stove, sink, kettle, balcony or deck, and a nice bathroom. There was a sea view from the room doors, and we didn't lack for anything at the hotel. The beach, though, wasn't set up for sitting and enjoying the sea. There was no sand, just lots of dead seaweed along the coast. We usually bought breakfast at the bar, where a lovely woman made our 2-year-old daughter amazing pancakes with a big smile. She greeted her every time as warmly as her own grandma. It made the place feel like family. Everyone was friendly, helpful, polite, and smiling. Keep in mind that between tourist seasons many restaurants and markets in Kavos are closed. We loved it here and would like to come back someday!

The room came with a fridge and freezer, small stove, cooking utensils, wardrobe, and balcony. It was cleaned every day, and the staff were friendly. The pool and sunbeds were very clean, and there was also a bar for guests. All in all, it looked very nice.

Freida and her son Paul made us feel welcome throughout our stay. They also have pets, including Rea, the friendliest guard dog you'll ever meet. The room was great for the price, with a kettle, fridge, and two-ring hob. The whole complex was clean and tidy, with a shop close by and Kavos town a fairly short walk away. At first the bar menu was mostly English-style, but partway through our visit Paul started making a different Greek dish each night. We had a car, so we could shop at the large supermarkets on the Lefkimi bypass, which have a huge range of food and drink. It's a great base for exploring the island, especially with all the sea views on the drive back from Corfu town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend Captain's.

The hosts were welcoming and accommodating, and the food and drinks were both delicious and inexpensive. The gardens were well kept and led down to the sea, with hammocks where you could relax and take in the beautiful view. The pool and sunbed area was immaculate with plenty of space. Our studio was basic but clean and tidy. The owners have already updated some accommodation and are planning more improvements. We liked that the area was quieter and nicer than Kavos town. The weather was perfect in late May 2019, and we enjoyed visiting nearby Lefkimmi.
