I was there with my toxic ex-partner. I was distressed by dealing with him, and sometimes I’d had too many drinks. He was charming and talked to all the girls at the pool. I waited five hours for the police after my ex tore my passport, but they never arrived. I lost consciousness for 10 minutes and had a head/brain injury. Nobody called an ambulance. I was vomiting constantly, day and night, for three days. I found the place unpleasant and dirty, and the owner, Alex, super arrogant. Alex was rude and shouted at guests. I didn’t expect a five-star hotel, just a comfortable, clean bed, but the mattress wasn’t comfortable or clean. The old kitchen was dirty and nothing worked properly. The toilet and bathroom weren’t clean, and there was no shower curtain, so the floor got wet. The atmosphere felt relaxed and the host seemed nice, but that didn’t make up for the rest. Avoid at all costs.

The rooms are basic, which was fine since we just used ours as a base. From the main road, turn immediately right and you’ll find one of the cheapest supermarkets in the resort. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance too, and we can recommend them. There’s a pool and decent WiFi as well. The place is right on the beach, with a short walk to a much wider stretch of beach.

We had such a good time that we’ve booked to come back in may. The rooms were basic but spotless, and the staff were lovely. Stayed in august, and the location was perfect.

This was our second visit to Lemon grove, and we’ll be back again soon. It’s great value for what you pay, and the owner is amazing, always willing to help and make your stay as good as possible. The rooms are spotless, cleaned every day with fresh towels. It’s a basic room-only or self-catering hotel, in a perfect location. There are water sports on the beach beside the hotel pool.

Kavos town, with its shops, places to eat and bars, is an easy stroll away. The hotel sits at the edge of it, so we didn’t get the noise. The beach and sea are right there, and there’s a watersports place if you’re after some thrills. Our room was comfortable and had what we needed. It’s not the Ritz, but it doesn’t cost Ritz money either. The pool area is relaxed, with lots of space and loungers. All in all, a very pleasant 10 day stay 😊
