Delfina Boutique Hotel

The hotel was perfectly decent, with decent staff and completely acceptable food. The main thing to know is how close it is to the National road. To reach the beach or bus stop, you have to cross Tia very busy road. A bridge would make things much safer. Personally, the road is why I wouldn't stay in this village again.

The beach is great, and there's a pedestrian underpass a few minutes' walk to the left along the road. The hotel is across a busy road from the beach, but bus stops right outside take you to Chania and Rethymno. We had a great stay at a comfortable, well-run hotel, with great rooms, very helpful staff, and a generous buffet breakfast with lots of choice.

It's a smaller hotel, with beautiful, clean rooms. The food was tasty and varied, including local dishes every day like mousaka, gyros, and souvlaki. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Mr. Elton from the hotel restaurant, who's a very nice person, and to his family, who work at the hotel too. We'd be happy to come back.

We liked the clean rooms, friendly staff, and quiet atmosphere, even with the main street right in front of the hotel. Breakfast and dinner buffets were good, with fresh fruit every day, and the beach was a nice five-minute walk away across the main street. The hotel is a bit out of the way: it's in an area of hotels and tourist shops, but the next town or village isn't within walking distance, so you'd need to drive even to explore nearby. Still, we'd book again.
