The owners are a lovely, generous older couple, and once we got settled we enjoyed our stay overall. The internet was quite good, the water pressure was fine with warm water, and the air conditioning worked well. Our room had its own balcony, though there was no view, plus a small kitchen with basic cooking things. Getting in was easy enough, but a bit confusing. There are no signs, and even after our stay I still didn’t know if there was a reception or where to find the owners. There’s a phone number down the road, though, and they came over pretty quickly when we called. We saw lots of spiders, two cockroaches, and some mosquitoes. Given where the place is, that seemed expected, so we kept the windows shut and ran the AC. The beach and restaurants are very close, but it gets dark at night. A flashlight isn’t essential, but I’d recommend bringing one. We tried a few places, and liked Faros for breakfast and Taverna Kampos for dinner.
