The flat had plenty of amenities and was both comfortable and super clean. Ms Kyriaki, the landlady, was really friendly and helpful.

Wife of Viladeris Giorgos, you called it by far the worst reservation. What made you say that? Was it because you weren’t paid in cash, fair and square? Did you not get the house back intact and clean? Did we keep anyone in the neighboring apartment awake during the shared quiet hours, as your family did from our apartment next door? All we said was that, because of the cleanliness and the price not matching what we got, it was the worst stay we’d had. Oh, and we forgot to mention the parking, very good 😁

After 15 different vacations in my life, this is only the second time I’ve ever written a review. The first was for a place that was unexpectedly good, and this one is because, honestly, I cried over the money I spent. We’d agreed over the phone on seven nights, with a small deposit and the rest paid in cash. It was €130 per night for our family of four, with children aged six and three. We got there at 9:30 PM. Right after saying hello, the first thing discussed was payment. I didn’t have that much cash with me, so I said I’d go get some and we could talk the next day. That was the whole welcome. Nobody suggested where to go on the island or what was worth seeing. The wooden doors in the house had ants all over them. The next day, after around 200 calls with my phone off so I could calm down, the doorbell rang at 7:30 PM, just as we’d opened our eyes. It was the hostess asking for the money, saying agreements have to be kept. I counted it out carefully and asked when we’d get fresh towels and sheets. She politely told me this wasn’t a hotel and that stays were very short, only seven nights, so they didn’t change them. I couldn’t believe it. When I asked about the ants in the house, she said it was out of the question. She saw them, turned around angrily, and came back with a spray bottle to spray us. I’m writing this two days after getting home, and I’m still wound up. Money is really hard for most people to come by now, and we work hard to manage a few days away with our family. You can’t take people’s money like this. You should provide what you’re charging for. What’s worse, I’ve been left completely lenient!

Kerami is a picturesque village, and the peaceful walks and fresh air made our stay memorable. The apartment was clean and really comfortable, and our hostess was kind and ready to help. Halki and Filoti, the popular nearby villages, are close too. A great choice for a holiday in Naxos.
