Star Apartments

This is a nice place for an individual holiday, and I'd recommend staying here. Just keep in mind it's not a hotel, so the service is basic. Everything else was okay.

Mihalis keeps the place running so well, and we really appreciated him. We loved the shared space, a big balcony right outside our room. Our room was small but had enough space and the things we might need, including an iron and an anti mosquito gadget. Everything was arranged with taste. Star is at the end of the promenade, so it's about a 45min walk to the old town, which was fine in the evening. During the day, we suggest taking a reasonably priced taxi, with the station in front of the Star. Mihalis also gave us great tips for restaurants and wine places around Rethymno, so don't hesitate to ask and try them. We'll definitely visit Star again!

The owner Michael was great, friendly, and helpful, and got us everything we asked for. Elena did a really good job cleaning, and she's such a sweet lady. The room was very clean, with towels and sheets changed after 2 days. The apartment is across the main road from the beach and sea, and has a cooking corner with all we needed, a cute balcony, and a nice big roof terrace. We could take a bus from the airport to the main bus station, then bus 20 to around 600m from the apartment. Thanks for the lovely hospitality. We'd definitely see you again, and highly recommend it.

The owner or manager was so nice and helpful when we arrived, and showed us to our rooms. They were very clean and tidy. My husband and I had a good stay, and the location was good too.
