The rooms are big and it was nice having a balcony. Parking could be a problem in the main season. It’s well placed for getting to everything the area has to offer.

The location is a real plus. It’s just a few minutes from the old town and near the bus station. A one-way ticket costs €1.10 and can take you to any beach, and you can head into the city in the evening with your accommodation nearby. I’d come back, though I’d want things to be cleaner. At first glance it seems okay, but dust on the bedside phone and under the table stood out when I looked more closely. The staff are truly wonderful and very kind, the food is phenomenal, and the hotel is fine for a summer break. Still, with the cleanliness issues and everything feeling so small, I’d rate it three stars, not four. The restaurant and rooms are small, and the pool is tiny and murky. With three people already in it, I felt uncomfortable getting in.

I felt safe travelling solo and would happily stay here again. The room was lovely, the rooftop pool was a treat, and the reception service was particularly good. Breakfast and dinner had plenty to choose from, including a fabulous Greek menu, and the cakes were divine. Absolutely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

I love Crete, and after visiting twenty years ago I decided to spend my summer holiday on this lovely island again. I booked through a tourist agency, but was disappointed right from the start. The hotel staff, food, and room service were very good. The beach was the problem: big stones in the shallow water and waves about 1.5 meters high made getting into the sea dangerous and difficult. The hotel has two small pools for around a hundred guests who are trying, without much success, to swim in them. You’ll need to rent a car from a local agency to reach better beaches, mostly on the south and west coasts. There’s no evening entertainment, or what there is is very poor. If you can, don’t book a room here.
