Petur I.
They cut our stay short by a day, even though we still had that night reserved. The owner then tried to convince us we’d made a mistake with the booking. When we tried to sort it out, he wouldn’t speak to us, saying he only spoke German, although we’d heard him speaking other languages. He also tried to move us into another room with visible black mold stains that I wouldn’t consider habitable. The apartment itself smelled of sewage for long stretches, so it was unbearable to stay inside. There was no proper plumbing in the bathroom, no hot water for a shower, and no toilet paper. We had to heat water in an electric kettle ourselves. The rooms were old and bare, everything looked decades out of date, and the beds were painfully uncomfortable, like prison furniture. A strong mold smell hung around throughout our stay. It was a miserable experience from the moment we arrived. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday rather than self-punishment.
