It's a very quiet rural spot in the south of the island, on the edge of an olive grove in Kastri- Keratokampos. The terrace has a great sea view, and the nearby beaches include pebble ones as well as a small sandy beach in Keratokampos. You'll need a car because it's remote, though tavernas and grocery shops are 5-15 minutes away by car. The rooms were very clean, with AC in both bedrooms and the living room. The kitchen is well equipped, though one big bowl for Greek salad would be a useful addition 😁. The young family hosting us were very nice and shared information about the area. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We've stayed at Kapsali Holiday Homes three times now. The Kastri-Keratokampos area is so peaceful, with spectacular nature, and October is a relaxing time to visit, with the beach and swimming easily within reach. The apartment has breathtaking views over the Libyan Sea and comes fully equipped, apart from a dishwasher. That wasn't a problem for us, since people in Crete spend more time outdoors, but there's a full kitchen if you want to cook at home. The owner is incredibly kind. I recommend this place to everyone.
