Our room had an incredible view, and the hotel was very clean. There are lots of stairs, though manageable, much like Santorini in general. Kostas was especially helpful, guiding us through what a visitor might need and then some, which made the experience feel more personal than an ordinary hotel. The pool wasn’t set up during our off-season visit, and it was too windy to spend much time outside anyway. Breakfast was simple but tasty and did the job. We had a really good stay, with local restaurants close by.

The hotel view was breathtaking, and reception was a big help. Kosta, I think, shared useful island tips and a food recommendation that was especially welcome in the quiet season. The room was decently clean. We stayed three nights.

Breakfast was good, and the room was spacious, with a little tea kettle and minibar. We liked having a small private balcony overlooking the volcano, with amazing sunsets. The room was on two levels, with the bed by the entrance and the bathroom downstairs. The only drawbacks were the low tap, which made handwashing awkward, and the lack of hooks in the shower.

We came in early December, when it was off-season, and Kostas and Rigas helped us find the places still active in winter. Their suggestions for restaurants and renting a car for a day led to some great island exploring, and service at the hotel was excellent. The property has that lovely white-and-blue Santorini feel. From here, the winter sunsets were even better than in Oia. We’d love to return and will recommend it to friends and family.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a handy spot, close to everything, and the pool looks great. Breakfast was really good, and I’d come back. There are a lot of stairs, so it may not work well if you have bad knees. When we arrived, reception was closed and we had no way to reach anyone. A local eventually helped, but we waited 20 minutes in the cold.
