It’s just a five minute walk down the road to Keri lighthouse, so the location worked perfectly for us. The hosts were so kind and even greeted us by name. Our room was cozy, with really distinctive, cool decor, and the bathtub was top notch. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Read the message after booking and paying, and cancel more than 12 hours ahead if needed. The art and design are lovely, and the room and small hotel look beautiful, but a historic art gallery isn’t enough when you need basic comfort and sleep. As the message said, there was no TV in the downstairs room. The toilet smelled so bad that we couldn’t keep the window closed at night in the cold. The bathtub wasn’t clean. There was animal noise all day and night, minute after minute: sheep below in the valley, goats, roosters above, and other farm animals all around the hotel calling to each other. The hotel is in a cold valley between mountains. There are two doors to the wooden balcony; the outer one closes, but the inner one doesn’t. The woman was polite and brought me a blanket and duvet, but given the cold and clouds here, they could install air conditioning or a radiator for heat. Under the duvet I was sweating, while the room air still felt cold. Wind also came through the room. I barely noticed in the day, but at night the draft hit my head. I woke with a headache and caught a cold, with a cough and runny nose, even with the extra bedding. The stone construction keeps the room cool. I really don’t recommend it!

It’s quiet and incredibly beautiful, and we had an amazing stay in such a lovely house and setting. After I mentioned I wasn’t sleeping well, they replaced the mattress in under a day. I really appreciated their hospitality and would recommend staying here.

We’re already keen to come back after spending a week here. The peace, quiet, and sounds of nature were such a welcome change from our big city, and every morning, afternoon, and evening the scenery and sense of relaxation were amazing. Our one bedroom villa had the biggest balcony ever, plenty of room inside and out, and a well equipped kitchen. You can order breakfast or dinner the day before. We ordered dinner one night and it was lovely, with probably the best vegetarian Moussaka I’ve ever tasted. 👍👍 to chef Christos. The villas are amazing, and Keri Village is just a 10 minute walk up the road. Huge thanks to Marianna, Christos, and all the staff for making the holiday so relaxing and enjoyable. We knew when we booked there was no air conditioning or TVs. That didn’t take a star away for us, we still had the most enjoyable, relaxing seven days.
