Anita Village

We stayed in room 109, one of the three private villas with its own little pool, and it was amazing. The accommodation was spotless, thanks to the lovely daily cleaner and her attention to detail. There was a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival, plenty of towels and extra pillows, and mosquito mesh on all the windows and patio doors. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The pool isn’t heated, but it was still fine to use in mid-October. You can also use the larger pool or the Anita hotel pool. Parking was easy, and the location made a great base for exploring the island. You can watch planes land and take off, but we didn’t notice them at night. The outdoor area doesn’t get much sun in October, though you can use the other sunbeds or go across the pool to find sun. If I were being picky, a full-length mirror would be useful. We did have a small ant problem near the lower left edge of the patio doors, where they seemed to be getting in. I’m not sure if the fresh flower petals left on the towels attracted them. Other than that, highly recommended!

We spent two weeks at Anita Village and used it as a base to explore much of Corfu. The property was fabulous, spotlessly clean, and never felt overcrowded since the group of accommodations is small. Our terrace looked over a grassy patch and then the pool, and the pool area was delightful. The kitchen was fully equipped with a great fridge freezer, and the air conditioning was fabulous.

We were a bit early, so we got to relax at the pool at the nearby "Anita Hotel." The staff there were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was fresh and tasty, and the owner arranged free transport for us to the property. I stayed here with my family for a week, and we were happy with the experience. The place is clean and well maintained, with attention to detail. The room was comfortable and fully equipped, and the pool was kept clean.

The place was professionally cleaned every day, and it had a really calm atmosphere while still being close to busy areas. The bus stop is two minutes from the front door. Honestly, it was perfect and a complete steal for the time of year we went. I can’t recommend it enough.
