House Dolphins

We had a lovely vacation at Dolphins House. The place was peaceful, so we could properly rest and sleep, and our child loved playing and swimming at the beautiful private beach every day. The rooms are a little small but cozy. The owners were kind, and our room was cleaned regularly.

For the price, this was great value. Free sunbeds came with the villa, though you'll need to bring your own umbrella. The beachfront water was clean, with a meter or two of stones at the start before it turns sandy farther out. The beach itself had a mix of sand, stones, and garbage. The rooms were regularly cleaned and well maintained, though some appliances and faucets need replacing or refurbishing. We had to work out a special technique to flush the toilet.

We came just before peak season, so it was very quiet. The private beach is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and parking is easy.

We spent 9 nights here at the end of September, and it felt like a dream. Our balcony had an amazing view, and we often ate out there in that lovely atmosphere. The room had an electric stove, plates, pots, cups, and the basics for a comfortable stay. Two beautiful tavernas nearby serve good food and have a nice vibe if you want to eat out. The location on Thassos is amazing, with a private beach and sunbeds, an outdoor shower, nice rooms, and a lovely garden. They cleaned our room every day and changed the sheets and towels every 2 days. Eleni and her family were always so kind and around when we needed them. We loved this place and can't wait for winter to pass so we can return to this beautiful oasis. Thanks, Eleni, for everything. All the best from Bucharest, Romania!
